After a lot shuffling and changes in agents and direction I decided to take a step back, cut out any middle man and deal direct with my clients , back to my original concept and keep our prices affordable for unique and individual pieces
Although our office hours will be limited I believe we will deliver a much more personalized service, dealing via email or by personal appointment.

My first trip to Bali was in 1980 and could not wait to get back with my kids . It was an affordable way to let them experience another culture and way of life that I truly believe grounded them and made them appreciate the advantages of being raised in Australia.
That was the beginning of my love for the island of Bali and it’s people . I continue to be amazed by the talent and adaptability of the Balinese people , their willingness to share their culture and home with the rest of the world , accepting their lot in life and always with a smile
My hope for Bali Fling is to create the link between you and this wonderful expanse of unique talent and craftsmanship

While I was searching for pieces for our new web site, I came across a piece I had written at the very beginning about a dream I had.
My Dream
Every time I returned to Bali, there was always so much I wanted to bring home and always a limit to what I could get on the plane. I did manage to push the limits quite a few times, much to the horror of my family, so the logical next step was a container. With the help of family and friends I had no trouble filling it and then the next container we furnished Café on Johnston. I have never tired of the pieces I purchased, each piece has a story and are a special part of my home.
Then came Bali Fling, a way to assist other people experience that joy and hopefully make a living (it really can be hard work). I get a buzz when someone purchases a special item and take the time to let me know how much they enjoy it. I would love a place of my own on the island, a place that clients could stay and I could help them experience the fun of finding their own special pieces and having their own stories to tell.
The ultimate shopping spree tour.

I have filled that dream , I was offered a share in a property that was only a shell in the village of kedewatan Ubud.
What a wonderful experience to work alongside the locals with such a vast source of affordable products at your disposal.
The result an affordable B&B in Ubud the Arts and Culture centre of Bali .
I have now started my second project in Kedewatan. I have leased another 10 Are across the road from Cocoa 1 . I purchased a Sumatran Lake Toba house that I saw in Mas while on holidays over 15 years ago . I stopped and took photos . This house waited for me , I purchased it last year and have just started the journey to modify and restore it on my new block , create gardens and water features and more guest rooms .
Follow that journey.
